Twin Hills Air & Heat LLC is a licensed air conditioning and refrigeration contractor with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TACLA #00123456C), and our technicians hold EPA 608 Universal certification for refrigerant handling. We're fully bonded and insured, and we're happy to email the certificates before your appointment.

Do you charge extra for nights and weekends?

No. Our rate at 9 PM on a Sunday is identical to 10 AM on a Tuesday. Dallas heat doesn't keep business hours, so neither do we — and you shouldn't be penalised for when your system decided to quit. A real technician answers the emergency line, not a call centre.

What warranty do you provide?

All workmanship carries a 2-year warranty, and manufacturer warranties on supplied equipment are registered in your name. New system installations include a 10-year parts warranty. If something we installed misbehaves inside that window, we return at no charge.

Our honest rule of thumb: if the unit is under 10 years old and the repair costs less than a third of a replacement, repair it. Past 12 to 15 years with a major component failure, replacement usually wins on energy savings alone — especially on an older R-22 system where refrigerant alone is now expensive. We give you both numbers in writing and let you decide.

Do I need a permit for a new system?

Almost always one of two things: the system can't breathe, or it's low on refrigerant. A clogged filter, collapsed duct or blocked return starves airflow; a leak drops the pressure and the coil goes below freezing. Running it iced up is how compressors die, so shut it off and call us rather than waiting it out.

Floor protection, drop sheets and boot covers come out of the truck before the tools do, and we vacuum before we leave. Attic and closet work is contained, and dust from any cutting is captured at source.

Do you offer financing?

Yes — 0% for 18 months on approved credit for system replacements, plus longer low-rate terms if you need a smaller monthly payment. Approval takes about five minutes and can be done at your kitchen table.

Quotes for planned work — replacements, ductwork, air quality systems — are free. For fault-finding, the $89 diagnostic covers the technician's time to trace the problem properly, and it's credited against the repair if you go ahead.
